And al-jady is: a constellation in the sky.

مطر جدى مقصور، أي عام
A short rain, meaning widespread.
اللهم اسقنا غيثا غدقا، وجدى طبقا

ويقال أيضا: جدا الدهر، أي يد الدهر، أي أبدا

هو بمنزلة العناق من الغنم

تريح بعد النفس المحفوز إراحة الجداية النفوز
It rests after the hurried breath, the rest of the fleeing gazelle.
وجد وته واجتديته واستجديته بمعنى، إذا طلبت جدواه
And I sought its benefit, and I sought it, and I requested it, meaning the same, when you seek its benefit.
جئنا نحييك ونستجديكا من نائل الله الذي يعطيكا
We have come to greet you and to seek from the bounty of Allah who gives to you.
والجادي: السائل العافي
And al-jādī is: the asker, the beggar.
وأجداه، أي أعطاه الجدوى
And ajdāhu, meaning he gave him the benefit.
وأجدى أيضا، أي أصاب الجدوى
And ajdā also means: he obtained the benefit.
وما يجدي عنك هذا، أي ما يغنى
And what benefit does this bring you, meaning what suffices.
