And we 'nashfah' the pasture and the water from you, meaning we make it occupied for you, i.e., it is our share with no surplus.
ورجل مشفوه، إذا كثر سؤال الناس إياه حتى نفذ ما عنده، مثل مثمود ومضفوف ومكثور عليه.
And a man is 'mashfūh' if people ask him a lot until what he has is depleted, like 'mathmūd', 'madfūf', and 'makthūr ʿalayhi'.
وقد شفهني فلان، إذا ألح عليك في المسألة حتى أنفد ما عندك.

And the 'al-ḥurūf al-shafahiyyah': the 'bā', 'fā', and 'mīm', and do not say 'shafawiyyah'.
