And some have interpreted the omission of the nun as saying: ladun ghadwah, thus making ghadwah accusative with tanwin.
قال ذو الرمة: لدن غدوة حتى إذا امتدت الضحى
Dhu al-Rummah said: From the early morning until the forenoon had stretched out.
لانه توهم أن هذه النون زائدة تقوم مقام التنوين، فنصب كما تقول ضارب زيدا
Because he imagined that this nun was superfluous and stood in place of tanwin, so he made it accusative as you would say 'ḍāribun zaydan' (Zayd being struck).
ولم يعملوا لدن إلا في غدوة خاصة
And they did not make 'ladun' operative except specifically with 'ghadwah'.
