وأما قولهم: واد مغن، فهو الذي صار فيه صوت الذبان، ولا يكون الذبان إلا في واد مخصب معشب.
As for their saying: a valley maghann, it is one in which the sound of flies has appeared, and flies are only found in a fertile, vegetated valley.
وأغن السقاء، إذا امتلأ.
And the waterskin is aghan, when it is full.
وأغن الوادي، فهو مغن.
