A man 'badan' (with fatha) 'yabduna badanan', if he becomes large.
وكذلك بدن بالضم يبدن بدانة، فهو بادن
And likewise 'badan' (with damma) 'yabduna badanatan', so he is 'baadin'.
وامرأة بادن أيضا وبدين.
And a woman is also 'baadinah' and 'badiin'.
وبدن، أي أسن.
And 'badan', meaning he grew old.
وكنت خفت الشيب والتبدينا
And I had feared grey hair and growing old.
إني قد بدنت فلا تبادروني بالركوع والسجود
I have grown corpulent, so do not precede me in bowing and prostration.
