And from their saying: So-and-so is nothing but a 'hashimah' of generosity, if he is generous.
ورجل هشيم: ضعيف البدن.
And a 'hashim' man: weak of body.
وتهشم عليه فلان، إذا تعطف.
And so-and-so showed compassion towards him, if he was compassionate.
واحتشم ما في ضرع الناقة، إذا احتلبه.
And he milked what was in the udder of the she-camel, if he milked it.
