يُقَالُ: أَوْهِمْ مِنَ الحِسَابِ مِائَةً، أيْ أسْقِطْ.
It is said: Omit one hundred from the calculation, meaning leave it out.
يُقَالُ: قَدْ أتُهِمَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى أَفْعَلَ، إذَا صَارَتْ بِهِ الرِّيْبَةُ.

والرَّهَمُ: الجَمَلُ الضَّخْمُ الذَّلُوْلُ.

As if she were a large camel, and nothing remained but the hump, the ribs, and the sinews.
والأُنْثَى وَهْمَةٌ.

يَجْتَابُ أرْدِيَةَ السَّرَابِ وتَارَةً قَمْصُ الظَّلَامِ بِوَهْمَةٍ شَمْلَالٍ.
It traverses the cloaks of mirage, and at times the darkness envelops with a swift, broad path.
والوَهْمُ أيْضًا: الطَّرِيْقُ الوَاسِعُ.

ثُمَّ أصْدَرْنَاهُمَا فِي وَارِدٍ صَادِرٍ وَهْمٌ صَوَاهُ قَدْ مَثَّلَ.
Then we brought them back in a coming and going stream, a wide path whose sound was evident.
ويُقَالُ: لَا وَهْمَ مِنْ كَذَا، أيْ لَابُدَّ مِنْهُ.
And it is said: There is no avoiding such-and-such, meaning it is necessary.
