And Al-Iltizam means embracing.

تقول سببته سبا يكون لزام، مثل قطام

You say, 'I insulted him with an insult that is binding, like Qattām.'

والملزم بالكسر: خشبتان يشد أوساطهما بحديدة، تكون مع الصياقلة والأبارين

And Al-Milzam (with kasra) are two wooden pieces whose middles are joined by an iron piece, which is with the metal polishers and the leather workers.
