And a man may crave milk intensely, performing 'aymah, so he is 'ayman, and a woman is 'ayma.
وأعامه الله: تركه بغير لبن.
And God made him 'aamah: He left him without milk.
إذا اشتهى الرجل اللبن قيل: قد اشتهى فلان اللبن، فإذا أفرطت شهوته جدا قيل: قد عام إلى اللبن.
If a man desires milk, it is said: 'So-and-so desires milk.' But if his craving becomes extreme, it is said: 'He craves milk intensely.'
وكذلك القرم إلى اللحم والوحم.
And likewise is the intense craving ('qirm') for meat and the cravings of pregnancy ('wiham').
والعيمة، بالكسر: خيار المال.
And al-'aymah, with a kasra: the choicest of wealth.
واعتام الرجل، إذا أخذ العيمة.
And a man 'i'taama, if he takes the choicest part.
ورجل عيمان أيمان: ذهبت إبله وماتت امرأته.
And a man 'ayman 'ayman: his camels perished and his wife died.
