He is the generous one whose bounty you receive freely, and sometimes he asks for more than he is due and endures it.

Some of the Arabs change the 't' to a 'ḍ' and then pronounce both the 'ẓ' and the 'ḍ' saying 'iḍṭalama'.

And some of them assimilate the 'ẓ' into the 'ṭ' saying 'iṭallama', which is the most common of the pronunciations.

The humiliated returned to a dwelling where the proud ones were slaughterers for the sacrifice.
وظلم الوادي، إذا بلغ الماء منه موضعا لم يكن بلغه قبل ذلك.
And the valley is 'ẓalama' when the water reaches a place in it that it had not reached before.
والأرض المظلومة: التي لم تحفر قط ثم حفرت، وذلك التراب ظليم.
And the 'maẓlūmah' land: is that which has never been dug before, and that soil is 'ẓalīm'.
والظليم: الذكر من النعام.
And al-ẓalīm: the male of the ostrich.
والظلم، بالفتح: ماء الأسنان وبريقها.
And al-ẓulm, with fatha: the shine and brilliance of teeth.
إذا ضحكت لم تبتهر وتبسمت ثنايا لها كالبرق غر ظلومها
When she laughed, she did not grin broadly, but smiled, her teeth like lightning, their brilliance dazzling.
وأظلم: موضع.
