والنزعم: التكذب.

And al-naz'am: lying.

وناقة زعوم وشاة زعوم، إذا كان يشك فيها أبها طرق أم لا، فتغبط بالأيدي.

And a doubtful camel and a doubtful sheep, if there is doubt about whether it has been approached or not, so it is felt by hand.

وقال: زجرت فيها عيهلا رسوما (1) مخلصة الانقاء أو زعوما

And he said: 'I drove in it some camels, marked, clear of dung, or doubtful'.
