وَيُقَالُ لِلْبَوِّ وَالْوَلَدِ رَأَمٌ.

And whoever loves something and becomes familiar with it, has indeed become fond of it.
الشَّيْبَانِيُّ: رَأَمْتُ شَعْبَ الْقُدْحِ، إِذَا أَصْلَحْتَهُ.
Al-Shaybānī said: I mended the crack of the drinking vessel, if you repaired it.
وَقَتْلَى بِحَقْفٍ مِنْ أَوْرَاةٍ جَدَعَتْ صَدَعْنَ قُلُوبًا لَمْ تَرَأَمْ شُعُوبَهَا
And slain ones at a sandy hillock from Awrah, they broke hearts that did not mend their cracks.
الْأَرآمُ: الظِّبَاءُ الْبِيضُ الْخَالِصَةُ الْبَيَاضِ، الْوَاحِدُ رِئْمٌ.
Al-Ar'ām: the pure white gazelles, the singular is 'ri'm'.
قَالَ: وَهِيَ تَسْكُنُ الرَّمْلَ.
He said: And they inhabit the sand.
وَالرُّؤْمَةُ: الْغِرَاءُ الَّذِي يَلْصَقُ بِهِ الشَّيْءُ.
And 'al-ru'mah' is the adhesive by which a thing sticks.
أَبُو زَيْدٍ: رَأَمَ الْجُرْحُ رُؤْمَانًا حَسَنًا، إِذَا الْتَأَمَ.
Abu Zayd said: The wound healed well, if it closed up.
وَأَرْأَمْتُهُ أَنَا، إِذَا دَاوَيْتُهُ حَتَّى يَبْرَأَ أَوْ يَلْتَئِمَ.
And I healed it, if I treated it until it recovered or closed up.
