سألت نوح بن جرير بن الخطفى عن قول الشاعر: يلوك من حرد على الارما
I asked Nuḥ b. Jarīr b. al-Khaṭfī about the poet's saying: He chews from anger on the stones.
فقال: الحصى.
And he said: pebbles.
