ويقال: هدل البعير هدلا، وهو أن تأخذه القرحة فيهدل مشفره، فهو فصيل هادل.
And it is said: The camel drooped, meaning an ulcer afflicts it and makes its lip droop, so it is a drooping-lipped young camel.
وبعير هدل، إذا كان طويل المشفر، وذلك مما يمدح به.
