It is said: an animal with severe wikāl (reliance/difficulty), and wikāl (reliance/difficulty) with fatha and kasra.
والوكيل معروف.
And al-wakīl is well-known.
يقال: وكلته بأمر كذا توكيلا
It is said: I entrusted him with such-and-such a matter, a tawkīlan.
والاسم الوكالة والوكالة.
And the noun is al-wakālah and al-wikālah.
والتوكل: إظهار العجز والاعتماد على على غيرك
And al-tawakkul: is showing helplessness and relying on others.
واتكلت على فلان في أمرى، إذا اعتمدته.

وأصله اوتكلت، قلبت الواو ياء لانكسار ما قبلها، ثم أبدلت منها التاء فأدغمت في تاء الافتعال.
And its origin is 'utukiltu', the waw was changed to ya because of the kasra before it, then it was replaced by ta and assimilated into the ta of ifti'al.
ثم بنيت على هذا الادغام أسماء من المثال وإن لم تكن فيها تلك العلة، توهما إن التاء أصلية، لان هذا الادغام لا يجوز إظهاره في حال

ومن تلك الاسماء التكلة، والتكلان، والتخمة والتهمة، والتجاة، والتراث، والتقوى.
And among those nouns are takilah, takilān, takhammah, tahmah, tajāh, turāth, and taqwā.
وإذا صغرت قلت تكيلة وتخيمة، ولا تعيد الواو لان هذه حروف الزمت البدل فثبتت في التصغير والجمع.
And if you make it diminutive, you say takīlah and takhimah, and you do not bring back the waw because these are letters that necessitated the change, so they remain in the diminutive and plural forms.
وكله إلى نفسه وكلا كولا، وهذا الامر موكول إلى رأيك.
