ويقال أيضا: مال جبل، أي كثير.
And it is also said: abundant wealth, meaning much.
وحاجب كردسه في الحبل منا غلام كان غير وغل حتى افتدى منا بمال جبل
And a servant whose stature was like a rope among us, a youth who was not ignoble until he redeemed himself from us with abundant wealth.
ويقال أيضا: حي جبل، أي كثير.
And it is also said: a numerous tribe, meaning many.
منايا يقربن الحتوف لاهلها جهارا ويستمتعن بالأنس الجبل
Deaths bring destruction to their people openly and take pleasure in the multitude of people.
وامرأة مجبال، أي غليظة الخلق.
And a woman is majbāl, meaning coarse in creation.
وشئ جبل بكسر الباء، أي غليظ جاف.
And a thing is jabal (with kasra), meaning rough and dry.
والجبلة بالضم: السنام.
And Al-Jiblah (with damma): the hump.
ولقد أضل منكم جبلا كثير
And he led astray from you many a group.
والجبلة الأولين
And the creation of the ancients.
وكل هنيئا ثم لا تزمل وادع هديت بعتاد جنبل
And eat heartily, then do not be weary, and be guided with a wooden cup.
