And Khurafah: the name of a man from 'Adhra whom the jinn led astray, so he would narrate what he saw, and they would call him a liar and say, 'The tale of Khurafah.'
ويروى عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال: " وخرافة حق ".
And it is narrated from the Prophet, peace be upon him, that he said: 'And Khurafah (the tale) is true.'
والراء فيه مخففة، ولا تدخله الالف واللام لانه معرفة، إلا أن تريد به الخرافات الموضوعة من حديث الليل.
And the 'ra' in it is lightened, and it does not take the definite article 'al-' because it is a proper noun, unless you intend by it fabricated tales from nighttime stories.
