And sur'aana dha khuruja, and sur'aan and sur'aan, three pronunciations, meaning: how quickly he went out, the vowel of the 'ayn was moved to the nun, because it is an adaptation from 'sar'a' and built upon it.
ولسرعان ما صنعت كذا، أي ما أسرع.

Anwara, how fast is that, O Furūq? * And the bond of connection is frayed and loose. * He intended 'sar'a' and lightened it, and the Arabs lighten the damma and kasra due to their heaviness, so they say 'fakhidh' for 'fakhidh' (thigh), and 'adud' for 'adud' (upper arm), but they do not say 'hajara' for 'hajara' (stone), due to the lightness of the fatha:

Al-usru': red-headed, white-bodied worms that are in the sand, resembling women's fingers.
وتعطو برخص غير شثن كأنها * أساريع ظبي أو مساويك إسحل *
And they reach with tenderness, not rough, as if they were * the stripes of a gazelle or the toothsticks of ishil *
