And the plural is Qabāṭī.
والقباط: الناطف
And Al-Qabāṭ: the confectioner.
وكذلك القبيط والقبيطى والقبيطاء، إذا خففت مددت وإن شددت قصرت.
And likewise Al-Qabīṭ, Al-Qabīṭī, and Al-Qabīṭā', if you lighten it you lengthen it, and if you stress it you shorten it.
والقنبيط معروف.
And Al-Qunbīṭ is known.
