وربما كان ذلك من كثرة شحمها.
And perhaps that was due to her excessive fatness.
" أنه عليه السلام بعث مصدقا فأتى بشاة شافع فلم يأخذها فقال: ائتنى بمعتاط "
"That the Prophet, peace be upon him, sent a tax collector, and he was brought a ewe with her lamb, and he did not take it, so he said: Bring me a barren one."
والشافع: التى معها ولدها.
And the 'shaafi'ah' is the one with her young.
وربما قالوا: اعتاط الامر، إذا اعتاص.
And sometimes they say: The matter became 'i'aaT, if it became difficult.
