وقدح نضار: يتخذ من أثل يكون بالغور، ورسي اللون، يضاف ولا يضاف.
And a Naddar cup: it is made from Athel wood that grows in the lowlands, and it is reddish in color, and it can be attributed or not.
وبنو النضير: حى من يهود خيبر، وقد دخلوا في العرب وهم على نسبهم إلى هارون أخى موسى عليهما السلام.
And Banu al-Nadir: a tribe of Jews from Khaybar, and they have joined the Arabs while maintaining their lineage to Aaron, peace be upon him.
والنضرة: الحسن والرونق.

وقد نضر وجهه ينضر نضرة، أي حسن.

And it is said: Naddara Allahu wajhahu (with shadda), and Anḍara Allahu wajhahu, meaning the same.
وإذا قلت نضر الله امرأ، تعني نعمه.
And when you say 'Naddara Allahu imra'an', you mean 'Allah has blessed him'.
" نضر الله امرأ سمع مقالتي فوعاها ".
"May Allah bless the one who heard my saying and comprehended it."
وقولهم: " أخضر ناضر، إنما هو كقولهم: أصفر فاقع، وأبيض ناصع.
And their saying: 'Akhḍar nāḍir' (vibrantly green), it is just like their saying: 'Aṣfar fāqiʿ' (bright yellow), and 'Abyaḍ nāṣiʿ' (pure white).
والنضر: أبو قريش، وهو النضر بن كنانة ابن خزيمة بن مدركة بن الياس بن مضر.
And al-Nadr: the father of Quraysh, and he is al-Nadr ibn Kinanah ibn Khuzaymah ibn Mudrikah ibn Ilyas ibn Muḍar.
