والقدر تؤنث، وتصغيرها قدير بلاهاء، على غير قياس.
And al-qadr is feminine, and its diminutive is qadeer without the taa marbuta, which is irregular.
والقدار: الجزار، ويقال الطباخ.
And al-qaddar: the butcher, and it is also said the cook.
أتيح لها أقيدر ذو حشيف إذا سامت على الملقات ساما
A short one with rough hair was made available for it, who, when he climbed the slippery rocks, would climb.
وأقدر مشرف الصهوات ساط كميت لا أحق ولا شئيت
And a horse with long strides, prominent on the heights, shining, dark bay, neither short nor long.
