And 'baydat al-'uqr' - they claim - is the rooster's egg, because he lays only one egg in his life; it is so named because a virgin's excrement is tested with it.

And from this is their saying: It was 'baydat al-'uqr', for a gift if it was a one-time occurrence.
وقال بعضهم: بيضة العقر، إنما هو كقولهم: بيض الانوق، والابلق العقوق، فهو مثل لما لا يكون
And some said: 'Baydat al-'uqr' is like their saying: the eggs of wild asses, and the disobedient piebald horse; it is a simile for what does not exist.
