وطرت يده: مثل ترت، أي سقطت.
And his hand fell: like it slipped, meaning it dropped.
يقال: ضربه فأطر يده، أي قطعها وأندرها.
It is said: he struck him and severed his hand, meaning he cut it off and detached it.
وأطر، أي أدل.
And ațarra, meaning to act coquettishly or dependently.
وفي المثل: " أطري فانك ناعلة ".
And in the proverb: 'Act coquettishly, for you are wearing sandals.'
قال أبو عبيد: معناه اركب الامر الشديد فإنك قوى عليه.

قال: وأحسبه عنى بالنعلين غلظ جلد قدميها.
He said: and I think he meant by the sandals the thickness of the skin of her feet.
وقولهم: " غضب مطر "، إذا كان في غير موضعه وفيما لا يوجب غضبا.
And their saying: 'angry țarr', if it is in the wrong place and for something that does not warrant anger.
وقال الأصمعي: يقال جاء فلان مطر أي مستطيلا مدلا.
And Al-Asma'i said: it is said so-and-so came muțarr, meaning ostentatious and boastful.
وقال أبو زيد: الإطرار: الإغراء.
And Abu Zayd said: al-ițrār: incitement.
والطرير: ذو الرواء والمنظر.
And al-țarīr: one of good appearance and aspect.
ورجل طرطور: طويل دقيق.
And a țarțūr man: tall and thin.
والطرطور: قلنسوة للأعراب طويلة دقيقة الرأس.
And al-țarțūr: a tall, slender-headed cap for the Bedouins.
