صرار الليل: الجدجد، وهو أكبر من الجندب، وبعض العرب يسميه الصدى.
Ṣarār al-layl: The cricket, which is larger than a locust, and some Arabs call it al-ṣadā.
صر القلم والباب يصر صريرا، أي صوت.
