الدار مؤنثة. وإنما قال الله تعالى: (ولنعم دار المتقين)
The 'dar' is feminine. And indeed Allah the Almighty said: (And excellent is the home of the righteous)
فذكر على معنى المثوى والموضع كما قال: (نعم الثواب وحسنت مرتفقا)
So He mentioned it with the meaning of dwelling and place, as He said: (Excellent is the reward, and good is the resting place)
فأنث على المعنى.
So He made it feminine based on the meaning.

And it is said that it is from 'al-midarah' in matters. So whoever says this means with a kasra on the 'ta' in the accusative position, i.e., by 'midarah' of the buckets, and he says: 'la yustaqi' (is not drawn) in the passive voice.
