So he said: Yes, three are 'sard' (consecutive), and one is 'fard' (single).
فالسَّرْدُ: ذو القَعْدَةِ وذو الحِجَّةِ والمُحَرَّمُ، والفَرْدُ رَجَبٌ.
So 'as-sard' are Dhu al-Qi'dah, Dhu al-Hijjah, and Muharram, and 'al-fard' is Rajab.
والسَّرَنْدَى: الشَّديدُ، والأنْثَى سَرَنْدَاةٌ.
And 'as-saranda' is the strong one, and the feminine is 'saranda'.
والمِسْرَنْدِيُّ: الذي يَعْلُوكَ ويَغْلِبُكَ.
And 'al-misrandi' is he who overcomes you and dominates you.
قَدْ جَعَلَ النُّعاسُ يَغْرَنْدِينِي * أَطْرُدُهُ عَنِّي ويَسْرَنْدِينِي
Sleepiness has made me drowsy, I drive it away from me and it overcomes me.
واسْرَنْدَاهُ: أي اعْتَلاهُ.
And 'asrandahu' means: it ascended upon it.
والاسْرِنْدَاءُ والاعْرِنْدَاءُ واحِدٌ، والياءُ للإلْحاقِ بِأَفْعَنْلَلَ.
