And it is more eloquent with 'li- (for)'.
قال الله تعالى: (وأنصح لكم)
Allah the Almighty said: (And I advise you sincerely)
والاسم النصيحة.
And the noun is 'al-nasiha' (advice).
والنصيح: الناصح.
And 'al-nasih' means the sincere advisor.
وقوم نصحاء.
And a people who are sincere.
ورجل ناصح الجيب، أي نقى القلب.
And a man 'nasih al-jayb', meaning pure of heart.
قال الأصمعي: الناصح الخالص من العسل وغيره، مثل الناصع.
Al-Asma'i said: 'Al-nasih is the pure one from honey and other things, like 'nasi''.
وكل شئ خلص فقد نصح.
And everything that is pure has 'nasaha'.
وانتصح فلان، أي قبل النصيحة.
So-and-so 'intasaHa', meaning he accepted the advice.
يقال: انتصحني إنني لك ناصح.
It is said: 'Accept my advice, for I am sincere towards you.'
وتنصح، أي تشبه بالنصحاء.
And 'tanassaha', meaning he resembled the sincere people.
واستنصحه: عده نصيحا.
And 'istanasaha': he considered him sincere.
ابن الاعرابي: نصحت الابل الشرب تنصح نصوحا، أي صدقته.
Ibn al-A'rabi said: 'The camels 'nasahat' the drink, meaning they drank their fill.'
وأنصحتها أنا: أرويتها.
And I 'ansaHtaha': I quenched their thirst.
هذا مقامي لك حتى تنصحي * ريا وتجتازى بلاط الابطح
'This is my place for you until you drink your fill of water and pass the flatlands of al-Abṭaḥ.'
ومننه التوبة النصوح، وهى الصادقة.
And from it is 'al-tawbah al-nasuh', which is the truthful one.
والنصح بالفتح: مصدر قولك نصحت الثوب: خطته.
And 'al-nasH' (with fatha) is the masdar of your saying 'nasahTu al-thawb': I sewed the garment.
وثوب متنصح، أي مخيط، بالتوكيد.
And a garment 'mutanasah', meaning sewn, emphatically.
والناصح: الخياط.
And 'al-nasih': the tailor.
والنصاح: السلك يخاط به.
And 'al-nisaH': the thread with which one sews.
والنصاحات أيضا: الجلود.
And 'al-nisaHat' also means pieces of leather.
فترى القوم نشاوى كلهم * مثل ما مدت نصاحات الربح
'So you see the people, all of them intoxicated, * like when the pieces of leather of the profit were extended.'
وشيبة بن نصاح أيضا: رجل من القراء.
And Shaybah ibn Nassah is also: a man from the reciters.
