واللوح بالضم: الهواء بين السماء والأرض.

يقال: لا أفعل ذلك ولو نزوت في اللوح، أي ولو نزوت في السكاك.
It is said: I will not do that, even if you jump in the air, meaning even if you jump in the streets.
