And he 'khaft' (died suddenly) with a 'khafat' (sudden death), meaning he died suddenly.

And 'mukhaafatah' and 'takhafut' mean whispering the speech.
والخفت مثله
And 'khift' is like it (whispering).
أخاطب جهرا إذ لهن تخافت
I address them openly, when they have a hushed speech.
وشتان بين الجهر والمنطق الخفت
