ومنه ترجيب العتيرة، وهو ذبحها في رجب
And from this is the 'tarjeeb of the 'atirah', which is its slaughter in Rajab.
والترجيب أيضا: أن تدعم الشجرة إذا كثر حملها لئلا تنكسر أغصانها
And 'tarjeeb' also means: to support a tree when its load is heavy, so that its branches do not break.

And the noun is 'rajabah', and the plural is 'rujab', like 'rukkabah' and 'rukkab'.
والرجبية من النخل: منسوبة إليه
And 'ar-rajabiyyah' from the palm trees: is attributed to it (the month).
وليست بسنهاء ولا رجبية
It is neither a Sanha' nor a Rajabiyyah (type of date).
والرجبة أيضا: بناء يبنى يصاد به الذئب وغيره، يوضع فيه لحم ويشد بخيط، فإذا جذبه سقط عليه الرجبة
And 'ar-rajabah' also means: a structure built to trap a wolf or other animal, in which meat is placed and tied with a string; when it pulls it, the 'rajabah' falls on it.
والراجبة في الإصبع: واحدة الرواجب، وهي مفاصل الأصابع اللاتي تلي الأنامل
And 'ar-rajibah' in the finger: is one of the 'rawajib', which are the joints of the fingers that are next to the fingertips.
