ويثرب: مدينة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم.
And Yathrib: the city of the Messenger, peace be upon him.
نصل يثربى وأثر بي، منسوب إلى يثرب، هي والمدينة.
A Yathribi blade and an 'atharabi' blade, attributed to Yathrib, which is Al-Madinah.
وإنما فتحوا الراء استيحاشا لتوالى الكسرات.
And they opened the ra' out of aversion to the succession of kasras.
وأثر بي سنخه مرصوف
And an 'atharabi' spearhead, its base is bound.
