وأوشت الأرض: خرج أول نبتها، و النخلة: رئي أول رطبها، و الرجل: كثر ماله، والاسم: الوشاء، كسماء، واستخرج معنى كلام أو شعر، و المعدن: وجد فيه يسير من ذهب، و الشيء: استخرجه برفق، و فرسه: استخرج ما عنده من الجري، كاستوشاه، و في الشيء: علمه، و الدراهم: أخذ منها، و الدواء المريض: أبرأه.
And the land 'awshat': its first vegetation emerged, and the date palm: its first ripe dates were seen, and the man: his wealth increased, and the noun: 'al-wishā', like 'asmā', and he extracted the meaning of speech or poetry, and the mine: a little gold was found in it, and the thing: he extracted it gently, and his horse: he extracted what it had of speed, like 'istawshāh', and in the thing: he knew it, and the dirhams: he took from them, and the medicine for the sick person: he healed him.
والوشاة: الضرابون للذهب.
And 'al-washāh': the beaters of gold.
وحجر به وشي، أي: من معدن فيه ذهب.
And a stone with 'wushy' on it, meaning: from a mine containing gold.
والواشي: الكثير الولد، وهي: بهاء، والحائك.
And 'al-wāshī': the prolific in children, and she: beauty, and the weaver.
وكل ما دعوته وحركته لترسله فقد استوشيته.
And whatever you called and moved to send it, you have 'istawshaytuhu' it.
وائتشى العظم: برأ من كسر كان به.
And the bone 'i'tashā': it healed from a fracture it had.
