وَأَوْجَىٰ: أَعْطَىٰ، وَعَلَيَّ: بَخِلَ، ضِدٌّ، وَبَاعَ الْأُوجِيَّةَ، لِلْعُكُومِ الصِّغَارِ، جَمْعُ وَجَاءُ، وَالصَّائِدُ: أَخْفَقَ، وَالْحَافِرُ: انْتَهَىٰ إِلَىٰ صَلَابَةٍ وَلَمْ يَنْبُطْ، وَعَنْ كَذَا: أَضْرَبَ، وَانْتَزَعَ.

And awjā: to give, and against me: to be stingy, the opposite, and he sold the ūjiyyah, for small bundles, the plural of wajā', and the hunter: to fail, and the hoof: to reach hardness and not penetrate, and from something: to refrain, and to extract.

وَسَأَلْنَاهُ فَوَجِينَاهُ وَأَوْجَيْنَاهُ: وَجَدْنَاهُ وَجِيًّا لَا خَيْرَ عِنْدَهُ.

And we asked him, so we found him and we found him: we found him destitute, with no good in him.

وَمِيْجَىٰ، كَعِيْسَىٰ: جَدُّ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ مُقَرِّنٍ الصَّحَابِيِّ.

And Mījā, like 'Īsā: the grandfather of Al-Nu'mān ibn Muqarrin, the companion.

وَوَجِيْتُهُ: خَصِيْتُهُ.

And I castrated him: I removed his testicles.
