Or it may be said, because Ḥuṣayn ibn ʿAmr ibn Muʿāwiyah ibn ʿAmr ibn Kilāb went out, and with him was a man from Banū Juhaynah, called al-Akhnas. They stopped at a place, and the Juhaynī went to the Kilābī, killed him, and took his property.
وكانت صخرة بنت عمرو بن معاوية تبكيه في المواسم
And Ṣakhráh bint ʿAmr ibn Muʿāwiyah was weeping for him during the seasons.
فقال الأخنس: تسائل عن حصين كل ركب ... وعند جهينة الخبر اليقين
So al-Akhnas said: 'Every rider asks about Ḥuṣayn... and with Juhaynah is certain knowledge.'
