وَجَعَمَ البَعِيرُ، كَمَنَعَ: وُضِعَ عَلَى فِيهِ مَا يَمْنَعُهُ مِنَ الأَكْلِ وَالعَضِّ
And the camel was made to 'ja'ama', as in 'mana'a': something was placed in its mouth to prevent it from eating and biting.
وَالجُيَعِمُ، كَحَيْدَرٍ: الجَائِعُ
