وَالمَالُ بَيْنَنَا شِقُّ الأَبْلَمَةِ، أَيْ: نِصْفَيْنِ.

وَالبَيْلَمُ، كَحَيْدَرٍ: قُطْنُ البَرْدِيِّ، وَبَيْرَمُ النَّجَّارِ، وَجَوْزُ القُطْنِ، وَقُطْنُ القَصَبِ.

وَالتَّبْلِيمُ: التَّقْبِيحُ، كَالإِبْلامِ.
And at-tablim: making ugly, like al-iblam.
وَبَيْلَمَانُ: ع بِاليَمَنِ أَوْ بِالسِّنْدِ أَوْ بِالهِنْدِ، مِنْهُ السُّيُوفُ البَيْلَمَانِيَّةُ.
And Baylaman: a city in Yemen, or in Sindh, or in India, from it are the Baylamani swords.
وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ البَيْلَمَانِيِّ: مَوْلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الخَطَّابِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ.
