And if four small hairs of it are drunk dissolved in water, it calms the agitation of swellings and blood, removes love before it takes hold, clears blemishes and leucoderma, stops menstrual bleeding, and benefits mange and burns from fire.
وشرب درهم من الهندي في أوقية ورد مربى يذهب الوحشة والغم والخفقان.
And drinking a dirham of Indian [substance] in an ounce of rose jam removes loneliness, sadness, and palpitations.
