والناكل: الضعيف والجبان.

وفي الحديث: "مضر صخرة الله التي لا تنكل" أي: لا تدفع عما وقعت عليه.
And in the Hadith: 'Mudar is the rock of Allah which does not deter (لا تنكل)', meaning: it is not pushed away from what it has fallen upon.
