And al-hulk, with harakah: the barren years, the singular is bahaa', like al-halkat, and what is between one land and the one below it to the seventh earth, and the carcass of a perished thing, and what is between the top of the mountain and its bottom, and the air between any two things, and that which falls and drops.
والهلوك، كصبور: الفاجرة المتساقطة على الرجال، والحسنة التبعل لزوجها، ضد، والرجل السريع الإنزال
And al-huluk, like sabur: the wicked woman who throws herself at men, and the good wife devoted to her husband, the opposite, and the man who ejaculates quickly.
وافعل ذلك إما هلكت هلك، بالضمات، ممنوعة، وقد تصرف، وقد قيل: هلكت هلكه، أي: على كل حال
And do that, either halakat halak (with dammas), which is forbidden, and it can be used differently, and it has been said: halakat halakahu, meaning: in any case.
وعن الكسائي: هلكة هلك: جعله اسما، وأضاف إليه
And from Al-Kisa'i: halkat halak: making it a noun and adding to it.
فإما هلك الهلك، فإن ربكم ليس بأعور
So if the destruction occurs, then your Lord is not one-eyed.
والتهلكة: كل ما عاقبته إلى الهلاك
And al-tahlukah: everything whose consequence is destruction.
ووادي تهلك، بضم التاء والهاء، وكسر اللام المشددة، ممنوعا: الباطل
And Wadi Tahluk, with damma on the ta and ha, and kasra on the shaddah lam, forbidden: falsehood.
والاهتلاك والانهلاك: رميك نفسك في تهلكة
And al-ihtilak and al-inhilak: throwing yourself into destruction.
والمهتلك: من لا هم له إلا أن يتضيفه الناس
And al-muhtalik: one who has no concern except that people host him.
والهلاك: الذين ينتابون الناس ابتغاء معروفهم، والمنتجعون الذين ضلوا الطريق، كالمهتلكين
And al-halak: those who visit people seeking their favor, and the travelers who have lost their way, like the muhtalikin.
والهالكي: الحداد، والصيقل، لأن أول من عمل الحديد الهالك بن أسد
And Al-Haliki: the blacksmith, and the polisher, because the first to work iron was Al-Halik bin Asad.
وتهالك على الفراش: تساقط، و المرأة في ms1313 مشيتها: تمايلت
And tahalaka on the bed: to collapse, and a woman in her walk: to sway.
والهالكة: النفس الشرهة، وقد هلك يهلك هلاكا
And al-halikah: the greedy soul, and it has perished, perishing, destruction.
وفلان هلكة، بالكسر، من الهلك، كعنب: ساقطة من السواقط
And so-and-so is halkah (with kasr), from al-hulk, like 'inab: fallen among the fallen.
والهيلكون: المنجل لا أسنان له
And al-haylakun: the sickle without teeth.
والهالوك: سم الفأر، ونوع من الطراثيث
And al-haluk: rat poison, and a type of truffle.
