And 'al-Mi'naf': the one who travels in the early night, and the shepherd who grazes the first grass.
وأنف منه، كفرح، أنفا وأنفة، محركتين: استنكف، و المرأة: حملت فلم تشته شيئا، و البعير: اشتكى أنفه من البرة، فهو أنف، ككتف وصاحب، والأول أصح وأفصح.
And he disdained it, like 'faraha', 'anfan' and 'anafatan', both moved: he disdained, and the woman: she was pregnant and did not crave anything, and the camel: it complained of its nose from the ring, so it is 'anif', like 'katif' and 'sahib', and the first is more correct and eloquent.
