وضرع إليه، ويثلث، ضرعا، محركة، وضراعة: خضع، وذل، واستكان، أو كفرح ومنع: تذلل، فهو ضارع وضرع، ككتف، وضروع وضرعة، محركة.
And he submitted to him, with variations in pronunciation, ḍarʿan (with harakah), and ḍarāʿah: he was humble, abased, and meek, or like kafara and manaʿa: he was submissive, so he is ḍāriʿ and ḍariʿ, like katif, and ḍurūʿ and ḍarʿah (with harakah).

And like karuma: he was weak, so he is ḍariʿ, with harakah, from a people of ḍariʿ, also with harakah.

And a foal ḍariʿ, with harakah: was not strong enough to run.
والضارع، والضرع، محركة: الصغير من كل شيء، أو الصغير السن الضعيف.

And his horse weakened him, like manaʿa: it humbled him.

And 'The fever has made me weak for sleep': is said to mean submission in times of need.
والتضريع: التقرب في روغان، كالتضرع.
And al-taḍrīʿ: approaching with cunning, like al-tadaṛruʿ.
وضرع الرب تضريعا: طبخه فلم يتم طبخه، و القدر: حان أن تدرك.
And he cooked the broth incompletely, taḍrīʿan: he cooked it but it was not fully cooked, and the pot: it was time for it to be ready.
