And 'al-ḥiḍaḍ', like 'zufarah' and 'ʿunuq': the Arab one is the extract of Khawlan, and the Indian is the extract of sandalwood; both are beneficial for soft swellings, weakness, sores, blisters, eye inflammation, leprosy, hemorrhoids, insect stings, and quinsy, as a gargle, and for the bite of a rabid dog, applied externally and drunk daily half a mithqal with water; it thickens hair, and a plant, and another medicine made from camel urine.
وَكَصَبُورٍ: نَهْرٌ كَانَ بَيْنَ القَادِسِيَّةِ وَالحِيرَةِ.
And like 'ṣabūr': a river that was between Al-Qadisiyyah and Al-Hirah.
وَالحَضْحَضُ، كَقُنْفُذٍ: نَبْتٌ.
