فسميت بالقادسية، ودعا لها أن تكون محلة الحاج.
So it was named Al-Qadisiyyah, and he prayed for it to be a stopping place for pilgrims.
والقدوس: من أسماء الله تعالى، ويفتح، أي: الطاهر، أو المبارك: وكل فعول مفتوح غير قدوس وسبوح وذروح وفروج، فبالضم، ويفتحن.
And Al-Quddus: is among the names of Allah the Almighty, and it is opened (with fatha), meaning: the Pure, or the Blessed: and every fa'ul (form) that is opened (with fatha) except Quddus, Sabuh, Dharuh, and Faruj, it is with dammah, and they are opened (with fatha).
