And Al-Fakhur, like Sabur: is the she-camel with a large udder and little milk, and from udders: thick, with narrow teats, and little milk, and the palm tree with a large trunk and thick fronds, and the horse with a large body and long legs, like Al-Faykhar, like Siyqal, plural: Fayakhar.
والفَخَّارَةُ، كَجَبَّانَةٍ: الجَرَّةُ ج: الفَخَّارُ، أَوْ هُوَ الخَزَفُ.
And Al-Fakharah, like Jabbanah: is the jar, plural: Al-Fakhar, or it is pottery.
وفَخِرَ، كَفَرِحَ: أَنِفَ.
And he was haughty, as in 'faraha': he was disdainful.
