وعَلاثَةُ بنُ شَجَّارٍ، كَكَتَّانٍ: صَحابِيٌّ، ووُهِمَ الذَّهَبِيُّ في تَخْفِيفِهِ.
And 'Alathah bin Shajjar, like kattan: a companion, and Al-Dhahabi was mistaken in simplifying it.

And al-ishtijar: the avoidance of sleep by its owner, and escape, like al-inshijar in both.
وديباجٌ مُشَجَّرٌ: مُنَقَّشٌ بِهَيْئَةِ الشَّجَرِ.
And patterned brocade: decorated in the shape of trees.
والشَّجَرَةُ: النُّقْطَةُ الصَّغِيرَةُ في ذَقَنِ الغُلامِ.
And al-shajarah: the small dot on the chin of a boy.
