And al-dhakarah, like rumanah: is the spathe of the date palm.

والاستذكار: الدراسة والحفظ.

And al-istidhkār: is studying and memorization.

وناقة مذكرة الثنيا: عظيمة الرأس، لأن رأسها مما يستثنى في القمار لبائعها، وسموا ذاكرا ومذكرا، كمسكن.

And a she-camel mudhakkirat al-thunya: is large-headed, because its head is something exempted in gambling for its seller, and they named them dhākir and mudhakkir, like maskan.

"القرآن ذكر فذكروه" أي: جليل نبيه خطير فأجلوه، واعرفوا له ذلك، وصفوه به، أو إذا اختلفتم في الياء والتاء، فاكتبوه بالياء، كما صرح به ابن مسعود، رضي الله تعالى عنه.
