When they were destroyed, Luqman was given a choice between the survival of seven brown she-camels, from the wild oxen of the desert, in a rugged mountain, untouched by rain, or the survival of seven eagles, whenever an eagle died, another would succeed it. He chose the eagles, and the last of them was Labada.

واللبادة، كرمانة: ما يلبس من اللبود للمطر.

And al-labada, like rummana: what is worn from felted material for rain.
