وَمِنَ الْقُلُوبِ: مَا اجْتَمَعَ فِيهِ الْإِيمَانُ وَالنِّفَاقُ

وَالسَّادِسُ مِنْ سِهَامِ الْمَيْسِرِ

And al-ṣafāʼiḥ: the tribes of the head, and 'ayn, and from the door: its planks, and the broad swords, and wide thin stones, like al-ṣifāḥ, Kermān, which is the camels whose humps have become large, plural: ṣafāḥāt and ṣafāfīḥ, and 'ayn near the peak.
وَالْمِصْفَحَةُ، كَمَعْظَمَةٍ: الْمِصْرَاةُ، وَالسَّيْفُ، وَيُكْسَرُ، ج: مِصْفَحَاتٌ
And al-miṣfaḥah, like maʻẓamah: the milk-holding vessel, and the sword, and it is broken, plural: miṣfaḥāt.
وَالتَّصْفِيحُ: التَّصْفِيقُ
And al-taṣfīḥ: clapping.
وَفِي جَبْهَتِهِ صَفْحٌ، مُحَرَّكَةٌ، أَيْ: عَرْضٌ فَاحِشٌ
And in his forehead is ṣafḥ, vocalized with harakah, meaning: excessive breadth.
وَمِنْهُ: إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْأَصْفَحُ مُؤَذِّنُ الْمَدِينَةِ
And from it: Ibrahim Al-Aṣfaḥ, the muezzin of the city.

And al-ṣafāḥ, like kitāb, and it is disliked for horses: similar to a mark on the breadth of the cheek, its wideness is excessive, and mountains bordering Nuʻmān.
وَأَصْفَحَهُ: قَلَبَهُ
And 'aṣfaḥahu': to turn it over.
وَالْمُصَافِحُ: مَنْ يَزْنِي بِكُلِّ امْرَأَةٍ، حُرَّةً أَوْ أَمَةً
And al-muṣāfiḥ: one who commits adultery with every woman, free or slave.
