As for the name of a place, it is with Shin and Jim, and Al-Jawhari erred, as did he in the verse he recited: 'Fa-sarhah fa-al-maranah fa-al-khayal', and 'Al-Khayal' with Kha and Ya is also a misspelling; it should be with unpointed Ha and Ba, referring to sand dunes.

وقوله: السرحة يقال لها الآء، غلط أيضا، وليس السرحة الآء، وإنما لها عنب يسمى الآء.
